Taco dip has many variations, however, each variation always has the same outcome—you're the favourite at the potluck! Here's our take on the classic taco dip using marble goat cheese. (Or, try a bold new take on this dip with our Hot Chili Havarti!)
Goat Cheese In This Recipe
Block of cream cheese
1/3 cup of sour cream
1 tbsp Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)
1 tsp Dry mustard powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Hot sauce
1tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chili powder
¼ tsp each of garlic salt, onion powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes
½ tsp of paprika
½ tsp of salt
1 ½ tsp of cumin
1 cup Diced red pepper
1 can of your favourite salsa
1 cup grated Great Lakes Goat Dairy Marble Cheese (Or Great Lakes Goat Dairy Hot Chilli Havarti)
Mix together the: Block of cream cheese, 1/3 cup of sour cream, 1 tbsp Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), 1 tsp Dry mustard powder, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp Hot sauce, and 1tsp lemon juice.
Add: 1 tbsp chili powder, ¼ tsp each of garlic salt, onion powder, oregano and red pepper flakes, ½ tsp of paprika, ½ tsp of salt and 1 ½ tsp of cumin
Mix well and put in an 8x11 inch pan
Cover with salsa, sprinkle the diced red pepper and the grated Great Lakes Goat Dairy Marble Cheese.
We like to garnish ours with some slices of lime and jalapeno pepper. Serve with tortilla chips!
