Fire up that grill, skip the oven, and keep your house cool, with this homemade garlic bread recipe. Use 2 French Baguettes to serve a large crowd, or cut the garlic butter recipe in half, and just use one baguette for a family size serving. We used vegan butter to keep this recipe lactose friendly.

Goat Cheese In This Recipe


Ingredients:

2 French Baguettes

¼ cup grated Asiago Great Lakes Goat Dairy Cheese

1 brick Great Lakes Goat Dairy Mozzarella Cheese

1 cup vegan butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tsp Italian Seasoning

¼ tsp ground pepper

Directions:

Prepare the garlic butter. Mix the vegan butter, the minced garlic, the garlic powder, Italian Seasoning, pepper, and Asiago Goat Cheese. 

Slice the baguettes into 1-inch slices.

Spread the garlic butter on top the sliced bread. Be generous.

Grate the Mozzarella Cheese.

Turn your bbq on and set to medium-low. When around 350°, place the garlic bread on the grill.

Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until toasted on the bottom.

Sprinkle the grated cheese on each piece.

Turn off the grill, shut the lid, and let the cheese melt. This takes about 4 or 5 minutes.
