Grilled asparagus is the perfect side to your favourite dishes of BBQ season, bringing out the natural earthy flavour of the season. We like to Add our Maple Cheddar Goat Cheese, which adds that hint of sweet and a whole lot of savoury.
The Goat Cheese In This Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bunch of fresh asparagus, trimmed
½ lemon, cut into quarters
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup Great Lakes Goat Dairy Maple Cheddar Goat Cheese, grated
Directions:
Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
Lightly coat asparagus with olive oil, and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Grill over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes. Place the quartered lemon on top.
After 3 minutes, sprinkle the grated Great Lakes Goat Dairy Maple Cheddar Goat Cheese on top.
Let melt and remove from grill.
Serve immediately, if desired, squeeze some of the lemon juice on top.
